EDUCATION
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Science or Management Sciences or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required skills
EXPERIENCE
- Preferred 8+ years of experience in: supplier improvement, supplier management, manufacturing, logistics, development & engineering.
- Requires proven experience in high-tech industry environment working with sophisticated products and processes.
- Proven track record to interact effectively with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams in fast-paced multi-disciplinary matrix environment.
- Training and implementation experience in supplier auditing and Lean/Six Sigma or similar with validated results.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Excellent (internal) customer and supplier management and relationship building skills.
- Self-starter with ability to scope and lead complicated projects from inception to completion.
- Demonstrates supply chain (processes) and manufacturing knowledge
- Ability to build and deliver presentations appropriately scaled to the audience. Confident at interacting with senior management.
- Strong negotiation skills and proven track record of driving decisions and discussions. Able to influence and find mutually helpful outcomes.
- Hands-on mentality: love sophisticated problems and strive to get things done.
Responsibilities:
- Establish, align and implement long-term contract manufacturing strategies and key programs with the key collaborators in line with Division Strategic Growth Plan. Specific focus on North America region.
- Lead project teams to develop supply chains of precision parts, qualified sub-assemblies and High Level Assemblies ensuring sufficient quality supply.
- Partner with operations and procurement teams to perform make vs buy assessments and scoping of opportunities.
- Build supply partnerships and relationships with key suppliers. Proactively identify supply issues, risks and challenges. Facilitate trade-off decisions and remove obstacles.
