JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS

HCA is looking for a Senior Counsel that will support HCA Physician Services with its day-to-day legal activities and other corporate departments and service lines as assigned. Senior Counsel will report to the Managing Operations Counsel and will work closely with Physician Services leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from accredited law school & active membership in at least one state bar
  • 10+ years of experience in /as legal counsel
  • Admission to the Tennessee bar

Responsibilities:

  • Review, approve and manage physician and other contracts
  • Provide counsel to Physician Services on regulatory issues and serve as a resource for the legal component of operational questions;
  • Assist with ensuring awareness of and compliance with applicable laws and company policies and procedures
  • Assist with the development of internal policies, procedures and forms;
  • Collaborate with, and provide guidance and assistance to, other colleagues in the Legal Department;
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Physician Services leadership; and
  • Practice and adhere to the company’s “Code of Conduct” and Mission and Value Statement.”
