Sr. Data Analyst (Contract)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis or data science, proficiency in Python, SQL, and Power BI, along with minimum 3-4 years of hands-on experience. The candidate utilizes programmatic and quantitative methods to identify patterns and relationships in large data sets, as well as apply mathematical, statistical, and other data-driven analysis to address intelligence questions. This candidate is also responsible for performing quantitative analysis of complex business situations, such as strategies, performance, and solutions involving sales and customer performance. The senior data analyst provides leadership to junior analysts and brainstorming with the manager and teams on approaches or solutions to a business problem.

• Perform end-to-end data analysis, utilizing Python and SQL to deliver business-oriented actionable insights.
• Develop and implement statistical models to analyze large datasets.
• Create story-telling and interactive dashboards using Power BI.
• Communicate complex data insights effectively through visualization techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and objectives.
• Deliver comprehensive data analysis solutions, ensuring timely and accurate results.
• Provide actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.

• Demonstrate proficiency in using Azure Fabric and Synapse for advanced data analytics (experience in these tools is a strong plus).• Perform end-to-end data analysis, utilizing Python and SQL to deliver business-oriented actionable insights.

Job Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Python, SQL, and Power BI.
• Expertise in programming languages (Python, SQL)
• Proficiency with data modeling and data analysis tools (Azure Fabric/Synapse, Power BI)
• Advanced knowledge of data analytics and ETL (Extract, Transformation and Load)
• Experience with machine learning and statistical models.
• Proven experience in data wrangling, transformation, and analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
