Sr. Database Developer

Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Sr. Database Developer. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Data & Analytics, the Sr. Database Developer will be responsible for providing the below responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Database developer
• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
• Proficient knowledge working with hosted data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake
• Proficient knowledge of SQL and other languages
• Proficient knowledge of modern object-oriented programming languages, Java/C++/Python
• Experience maintaining APIs that facilitate communication between systems
• Must be self-motivated and capable of independently integrating within multi-disciplinary teams
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

• Integrated member of the Data & Analytics Team responsible for providing database support to all the business teams at Permian Resources
• Help select, implement and then support a hosted data platform
• Help maintain, test and improve our existing and new SQL databases & data warehouse
• Work with vendors on API integrations, system issues, database refreshes and more
• Help with performance optimization techniques that allow quick and seamless connectivity for the business users
• Design data models that ensure data consistency and integrity
• Work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
