This position is responsible for developing more efficient operations processes through the introduction of improved procedures and deployment of improved systems.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
A teammate in this position must:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering preferably, other applicable degrees with accompanying experience will be considered.
- Have 5 year’s experience with rack and conveyor applications and conveyor sortation experience.
- Have knowledge of labor standards development and miscellaneous warehouse and facility equipment such as dock, forklift, HVAC, lighting, etc.
- Have an understanding of distribution center operation including receiving, selection, replenishment and dispatch.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Be able to function in a fast-paced office environment in a professional manner.
- Be analytical and organized and skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Project.
Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned. A teammate in this position must have the ability to:
- Manage large-scale construction and material handling projects from conception to startup.
- Support miscellaneous department and division efforts.
- Manage conception and implementation of company’s Labor Management System.
