Responsibilities:

  • Be the trusted authority of the demand forecast i.e. the rolling 24-month detailed plan that leverages history, customer forecast data, industry, and other relevant insights.
  • Drives engagement and participation of consensus demand reviews and other SIOP meetings, including consolidation and distribution of presentation materials, key decisions, demand plan publish, meeting notes/action items. Ensure demand planning activities effectively support organizational SIOP.
  • Interface and collaborate with key partners in Product Management, Commercial, Finance & Planning to achieve consensus on the monthly forecast submission quantifying and documenting assumptions, risks & opportunities.
  • Aligns Product Management and Supply Chain stakeholders to ensure successful new product introduction and phase-out of discontinued products.
  • Drives Financial partnership to ensure quality financial forecasts including avg. selling price, mix and margin to ensure monthly financial realization.
  • Ensure the appropriate process structure, inputs, outputs, interlocks, and cadence of demand planning activity globally to deliver BU level demand plans on a monthly cycle.
  • Conduct forecast error root-cause analysis to drive improvements to metrics including forecast accuracy, bias and FVA.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through project participation and leadership.
  • Key-user of the demand planning system, working with wider users on the implementation of system enhancements. Support associated processes and deputize for Demand Lead as required.
  • Partner with Demand Lead in the refinement of other planning tools (BI, analytics) to enable insights and outputs at appropriate hierarchy levels.
  • Create and maintain documentation and Standard Operating Procedures for demand forecasting, planning processes and systems.
