Description:

We are offering an opportunity for a Software Engineer in Dallas, TX. The role is focused on the development and maintenance of software applications, with a specific emphasis on Java, spring, Azure, GitHub, PostgresSQL, and Flexible. The position is a contract role and will involve working in a team-oriented environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify system requirements
  • Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
  • Write well-designed, testable code
  • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
  • Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
  • Document and maintain software functionality
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
  • Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
  • Ensure software is updated with latest features.
  • Proficiency in developing software applications using various programming languages
  • Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
  • Knowledge of coding best practices and system design
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug software applications
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in creating software specifications
  • Knowledge of laptop hardware and its integration with software
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and implement them in innovative ways
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
