Description:
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with design of complex digital logic.
- Experience with Data Accelerator Hardware offload Engines like encryption, compression etc.
- Experience with scripting/automation languages like Python/Perl.
- Experience with state-of-the-art industry standard digital tools
- Knowledge of challenges faced, while using lower node technologies.

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
This role is an excellent opportunity to work on the next generation technologies that will be part of AMD ASICs powering Servers and Machine Learning Applications. You will join one of the fastest-growing field of data-processing units rapidly being adopted across the VLSI industry. The industry is moving towards adding custom hardware offload engines to support complex data operations like encryption, authentication, compression, GPU/CPU compute offloads & virtual machines live migration. This is a tremendous opportunity to get in early into a rapidly expanding domain of custom hardware accelerators.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- RTL development using best industry practices, multi-clock, high frequency designs, low power & latency and high performance
- Debugging, post silicon bring up
- Documentation
- Optimize design for key metrics like Area, Power, Performance etc.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams like DFT, Implementation, Verification, Emulation, Firmware regularly.
