JOB MISSION:
New Balance is seeking a highly motivated, digitally savvy, product leader to lead our Digital Product Management team. The Senior Digital Product Manager will play a critical role in both crafting and executing our digital vision. The role is responsible for the strategic outcomes of several product workstreams and will serve as the manager for a team of high performing product owners.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Champions the product vision, strategy, and overall product roadmap goals/KPIs aligned to strategic company objectives.
- Maintains and communicates strategic product roadmaps across multiple product workstreams
- Develops and maintains business proposals for sustained and continued investment
- Leads the ideation, development, and launch of minimum viable products
- Manages the entire product life cycle from discovery, creation, operation, and end of life planning.
- Prioritizes product lines and initiatives based on consumer and business impact
- Communicates to executive stakeholders on product strategy, execution, and performance
- Coordinates and builds strong working relations with various internal stakeholder groups, including IT, Engineering, Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, and Legal
- Conducts market research and digital strategies to drive innovation and maintain market leadership
- Maintains product budgets, partner contracts, and financial models to prove ROI
- Develops organizational talent and team skillsets
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
- Data driven, strategic decision making
- Inspirational leadership, challenging teams to be creative and innovative about problem solving
- Strong leadership skills that leave others looking for your guidance
- An advocate for the consumer who is both strategic, but invested in the details
- Terrific communication skills – both as a writer and presenter
- An agile champion with strong knowledge of agile principles
- 8+ years of product management experience in ecommerce or digital solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field. MBA preferred.
