The Sr Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE+I) – Associate Resource Groups, is an integral part on the global DE+I team with responsibility for developing, leading, and optimizing Danaher’s Associate Resource Groups (ARGs) globally.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of DE+I, this role will advance our strategic priorities, model our guiding principles, and partner closely with critical stakeholders across the organization.
This position may be based in our Washington, DC office or remotely – preferably on the east coast of the United States.

THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB INCLUDE:

  • People leader with 10+ years of professional work experience
  • DE+I subject matter expert, with experience developing, leading, and advancing Associate/Employee/Business Resource Groups.
  • Proven history of building collaborative, successful and effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels in a global, highly matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated history making data-centered, fact-based recommendations and decisions.
  • Willingness to work in a lean, continuous improvement environment, and utilizing these methodologies as a business practice.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree a plus.
  • Global business acumen highly desired.
  • Ability to travel 20-25%

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic thought partner and collaborator with the Vice President, Diversity, Equity + Inclusion and ARG Leadership Teams.
  • Creates, manages and advances ARG governance model, succession and KPIs to meet the needs of all stakeholder groups and the business.
  • Enable ARG activation, excellence in execution, measurements of success and effectiveness.
  • Partners closely with Platform, Operating Companies and Regional leadership team to increase ARG engagement, membership, participation, and retention.
  • Manage, coach, and develop two direct reports.
  • Through data, benchmarking, and industry best practices, advise direct reports, DE+I ecosystem and ARG Leadership on trends, new/advanced strategies, and organizational change management to maintain a competitive advantage internally and externally.
