Location: This role requires the incumbent to be located in the Southeast region of the US – state locations could include North or South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee or Virginia.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Masters preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of HR related experience in roles of increasing scope; demonstrated ability owning an HR team preferred

  • Ability to collaborate and navigate a matrixed network
  • High degree of autonomy and strong decision-making skills
  • Strong Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand business context and leverage relevant data
  • Applies human resources expertise and business insight to lead critical projects and/or relationships.
  • Develop and lead new programs, models, standards, etc. for the regional team.
  • Ability to influence others across the organization and work efficiently in a matrixed structure.
  • Navigates matrixed HR Structure and COE’s

Responsibilities:

  • Build and implement operating mechanisms that align team goals with business priorities, to ensure the team is passionate about high value activities, that drive business performance.
  • Drive process improvement using the Practical Process Improvement (PPI) business system, to eliminate non-value-added work and improve opportunities for a consistent colleague experience.
  • Develop HR strategy, solutions and strategic workforce plans that align to regional business needs
  • Lead, develop, and mentor HR professionals. Understand and communicate key performance indicators the team delivers.
  • Champions a One Team HR approach by collaborating with Talent, Compensation, Benefits and Human Resources Business Partners to drive continuous improvement of our colleague experience and improve our employee value proposition.
