ABOUT NATUS:

For more than 80 years, Natus has been committed to serving the varying needs of clinicians, delivering the highest-quality solutions to raise the standard of care for patients everywhere. Natus’ Sensory division is the leading manufacturer of medical devices for a wide range of specialties, including the hearing, balance, and vision markets. Our mission is to improve patient outcomes and our comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic sensory solutions are designed to simplify workflows for professionals.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Vice President IT, Sensory Division is responsible for ensuring that Sensory receives correct, appropriate, and sufficient IT services from Neuro during the TSA period, while simultaneously working to establish Sensory’s independent IT strategy, staffing, software and infrastructure (to the extent necessary). The role is 100% remote from anywhere in Europe.
Natus Medical Incorporated (“Natus”) is comprised of two divisions - the Neuro Division (“Neuro”) and the Sensory Division (“Sensory”), each of which is focused on a separate product array. Neuro will keep all the IT systems, infrastructure and employees and, for a period following the separation, it will continue to provide IT services to the Sensory Division under a Transition Services Agreement (“TSA”). • Evaluates and plans for Sensory’s ongoing IT staffing, systems and infrastructure while exiting the TSA period and develops a plan to obtain and implement a stand-alone IT strategy.
  • Creates a technology roadmap and long-range plans designed to maintain the cost effectiveness and competitiveness of Sensory’s IT systems and infrastructure.
  • It is expected that the ongoing work will entail:
  • Ensuring that IT systems and infrastructure support and facilitate Sensory’s business in every respect.
  • Managing the ongoing design, maintenance, development and evaluation of all infrastructure systems and areas.
  • Ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Providing appropriate staffing and expertise to support the IT infrastructure.

  • Coordinating with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, and other internal departments with respect to audits related to compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Maintaining current technical knowledge and state-of-the-art practices.
  • Ensuring that Sensory’s IT systems operation adheres to applicable laws, regulations, and best practices.
