Summary:
Our Sr Director of Procurement, Supply & Demand Planning, will be responsible for leading the development and execution of integrated planning strategies across all product categories. This role will play a pivotal role in aligning portfolio management, demand planning, supply review, and the MBR to optimize inventory management, enhance operational efficiency, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership on integrated planning subject matter with the executive team.
  • Develop and implement planning strategies to synchronize the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) steps of portfolio management review, demand planning, supply review, and MBR across all product categories.
  • Lead the demand planning process, working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to gather market insights, forecast customer demand, and develop accurate demand plans.
  • Oversee inventory management strategies, including inventory optimization, safety stock planning, and SKU rationalization, to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain operations teams to develop supply planning strategies, including procurement, production scheduling, and distribution, to align supply with demand requirements.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication to ensure alignment and consensus on integrated planning initiatives, objectives, and priorities.
  • Utilize data analytics and business intelligence tools to monitor key performance metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement in integrated planning processes.
  • Participate in Integrated Business Planning process steps including portfolio management review, demand review, supply review, and executive MBR meetings, to facilitate decision-making and alignment across the organization.
  • Drive process standardization and best practices adoption to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in integrated planning processes.
  • Develop and mentor a team of integrated planning professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to foster their professional development and ensure departmental goals are met.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to leverage technology solutions and systems enhancements to support integrated planning processes and improve operational performance.

Education and Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business or related field
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams
  • Experience in Food manufacturing environment is a PLUS
