BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 8 years of experience in digital product management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • MBA or Master’s degree
  • 8+ years of experience in Agile product management
  • 8+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
San Francisco, California (Hybrid On-Site): $288,800 - $329,600 for Sr. Dir, Product Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a cross functional team of product, engineering, data science, and design to drive the development of our conversational AI platform.
  • Partner with business and product leaders in the line of business organizations to understand overarching business goals, identify the highest leverage opportunities for improvement, and co-develop a strategy and roadmap to deliver AI-powered capabilities that deliver a step-change in customer and associate experiences.
  • Employ your deep knowledge and understanding of large language models and leading techniques to build reusable capabilities that augment our abilities, remove sources of error, and enable Capital One to deliver moments that matter.
  • Partner with data science partners to build training and evaluation data collection pipelines and processes that enable the continuous improvement of our models and prompts to deliver superior experiences that delight both customers and associates.
  • Lead a key pillar of Capital One’s emerging AI and ML platform, driving real change and impact across multiple areas of Capital One’s business.
