Description:

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Dedicated Project Civil Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience for a 1-year project assignment.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing civil engineering of the project,
ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering successful project outcomes.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Lead and manage civil engineering aspects of project from initiation to completion within the defined 1-year assignment period.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
- Implement and maintain stringent safety protocols, conduct safety training, and create a safe working environment for all project personnel.
- Collaborate with the design team to create project designs, specifications, and documentation.
- Ensure that engineering designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Supervise construction activities, including subcontractors, equipment operators, and construction crews.
- Monitor the quality of work to ensure it aligns with design specifications.
- Address any on-site challenges and deviations from project plans promptly
- Stay informed about industry regulations, codes, and standards, especially those relevant to civil engineering projects in mining environments
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation for permits, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate project records, reports, and documentation, including progress reports, cost tracking,and change orders.
- Communicate project updates and milestones to stakeholders and senior management.
