We are currently seeking a Sr. Email Marketing Specialist to join our Email Marketing team in the Biosciences Division at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. The main responsibilities of this role are to craft and maintain effective email marketing strategies that advance contacts through the sales funnel.
The ideal candidate has experience in designing, managing, and optimizing a large number of sophisticated automated email projects “drip campaigns”. This position requires a strong understanding of email best practices and the ability to develop comprehensive content strategies that cover the entire customer journey.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Verified proficiency in email marketing, emphasizing the ability to achieve desired outcomes and optimize financial returns
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver flawless email campaigns
• Strong analytical skills to determine campaign effectiveness and optimize performance
• Comfortable presenting to large and small audiences
• Preferred experience using: Eloqua, Adobe Experience Platform, and Adobe Journey Optimizer

• Collaborate with Market Development Managers to develop and implement email marketing campaigns that drive engagement and conversions.
• Maintain relevant documentation throughout the project lifecycle including segmentation, the content journey and optimizations made while active.
• Segment email lists and personalize messaging to target specific audience segments
• Monitor and analyze email campaign metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance in partnership with email analyst.
• Conduct A/B testing to improve open rates, click-through rates, and web engagement rates.
• Collaborate with the Email Operations team to prioritize and assign projects within each sprint.
• Stay informed about current trends and effective strategies in the industry to ensure innovative and successful email marketing campaigns.
