As the Employee Relations Partner, this resource will be responsible for managing and facilitating positive employee relations within the organization. They will serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees, providing guidance, support, and resolution to workplace issues and conflict. The role is essential in promoting a fair, respectful, and productive work environment, enhancing employee morale, and ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies.

What We Need & What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

  • Collaborate with HR Leadership and cross-functional teams to develop a comprehensive employee experience strategy aligned with organizational values and goals
  • Maintain processes developed to support business in employee relation matters and performance discipline identification
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee relation issues, ensuring confidentiality
  • Provide guidance and counsel to managers and employees on employee relation issues, conflict resolution techniques, and performance management
  • Interpret and apply company policies and procedures to resolve employee relation issues and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Legal, and other departments as needed
  • Partner with managers to provide guidance and support on performance management processes, including coaching, feedback, and disciplinary actions
  • Assist in documenting performance issues, conducting performance improvement plans, and monitoring progress to ensure alignment with organizational goals and expectations
  • Collaborate on developmental improvements to employee relation and performance management processes and documentation
  • Plan and coordinate employee engagement programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing morale, motivation, and teamwork
  • Assist with Security Clearances
  • Other projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the company

Who You Are (Qualifications):

  • Minimum of 6 to 9+ years of experience in HR, employee engagement, organizational development or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Humans Resources, or related field
  • Strong understanding of employment law, regulations, and best practices related to employee relations and employee engagement principles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, resolve conflicts, and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Solid proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Secret (Level II) clearance required, can be initiated upon hire
  • Bilingual in French, strongly preferred
