JOB SUMMARY/BASIC FUNCTIONS

Provide a centralized reporting and problem resolution program to support users of Information Technology. Manage University IT best practices with industry best practices within the structure of IT Service Management.
Provide technical expertise with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Virtual Desktops and Intune by using depolyment, inventory, patch management, and mobile management. assist with creation and configuration of GPO’s specific to workstation management,

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of solid proven experience administering and developing within a current industry standard ITSM Suite;
  • Demonstrated expertise in IIS and web application development. Expertise in System and Application Log Analysis;
  • Strong knowledge of Group Policy management;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong planning and organizational skills;
  • Demonstrated skills in desktop management and software distribution systems like SCCM/MECM, Altiris/Symantec, Remedy, and or LANDesk;
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in managing and maintaining Active Directory, Windows, Mac OS and IOS environments;
  • Proven ability to design optimal MECM configurations for global operations;
  • Proven ability to build unique solutions, which are complete, functional programs that plug in to the ITSM system;
  • Experience in PowerShell scripting, WMI query, SQL Server and SQL query language;
  • Proven ability to create custom reports from SQL database and MECM.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technologies, or equivalent experience;
  • ITIL Foundations Certification required within 1 year of employment;
  • Microsoft Endpoint Manager certification is preferred;
  • Experience in Higher Education is preferred;
