    Electrical Engineers, are you ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy transmission? I’m seeking a dynamic Senior Engineer to join one of the most respected operators in NSW.
    About the Role: As a Senior Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in driving the development and operation of energy management systems (EMS) and SCADA tools. You’ll provide expert analysis and recommendations to ensure the success of our high-voltage transmission system projects. This position offers the flexibility to work from home two days a week, with occasional office work required to access certain systems in Western Sydney.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in electricity transmission systems analysis and development.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Energy Management Systems (EMS) and SCADA.
  • Comprehensive understanding of risk management principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the energy industry and quality assurance procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and documentation of real-time energy management tools.
  • Provide technical support and guidance as required.
  • Author clear and concise reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in the National Electricity Market and relevant legislation.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
