Description:
You will be responsible for
- Aerodynamic development of High Performance Vehicles for N/brand, closely co-working with existing Senior Aerodynamic Engineer in the team
- Perform aerodynamic simulations and model setup using the latest CAE tool benches
- Perform full-scale wind tunnel testing sessions
- Concept CAD work on aerodynamic exterior and cooling channel surfaces
- Benchmarking and target definition for components, system performance and vehicle performance
- Support the aerodynamic methodology development from state-of-the-art to future technologies
- Scouting and implementation of latest development tools
- Close collaboration with Engineering Design & Architecture Team, Test & Development Team supporting mass production and Advanced Prototype vehicle projects
- Close cooperation with HMETC departments and Korean R&D Center (ED, TD, PE/PT) as well as external partners
- Documentation and presentation of project & development results in English language
Who we are looking for
- Degree in Aeronautic, Automotive engineering or similar
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in virtual development in the field of aerodynamics
- Sound knowledge of aerodynamics and numerical theory, vehicle exterior, cooling aerodynamics, experience in scripting
- Software competences: Star CCM+ (or comparable), ANSA, Catia V5 (or comparable), Python, Java, Linux is a plus
- Wind Tunnel (preferably Rolling Road) working experience is a plus
- Very good command of English, intercultural & communication skills and openness to work in a multi-national environment
- Willingness to travel and valid European driving license B
