Description:
You will be responsible for
- Virtual development of Noise and Vibration characteristics on system and full vehicle level
- Preparation and management of CAE models and load cases for various NVH simulation tasks
- Development of technical solutions to improve the NVH performance on system and full vehicle level
- CAE model correlation and refinement
- Refinement of virtual development methods
- Reporting and documentation of results in English language
- Collaboration with our R&D Centre in Namyang (South Korea), suppliers, engineering companies and universities
- Co-work with other teams and members to define vehicle, system, component targets for new projects
Who we are looking for
- Degree in mechanical / electrical / automotive engineering / physics / or comparable
- Several years of experience at a car maker or system supplier (OEM related projects) in the development of vehicle NVH
- Experience with CAE tools for pre- and post-processing as well as solvers (e.g. ANSA, META, Nastran, OptiStruct)
- Experience in High Frequency Acoustics simulation or Substructuring methods is a plus
- Experience in NVH measurements and correlation of CAE models is a plus
- Passion for innovative simulation technologies, good overview on latest market trends
- Willingness to travel and to work in an international / intercultural environment
- Excellent analytical skills, pro-active attitude, very good command of English language
- Proficient in reporting and handling of Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel
