We are seeking a talented Sr. Engineer - Mechanical Process Piping to join our dynamic team and serve as the authority in a particular area (i.e. discipline or specific market practice area) of advanced concepts, principles, and methods in an assigned area. Keeps informed of new developments and requirements affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs or applications. Works on multiple major projects with complex features as a technical lead. Education & Experience Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred.
  • Proficiency in Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, Process Simulations (ChemCAD/ASPEN), Heat and Material Balance (HMB), Physical/Chemical Property Assessment, Process Safety Management (PSM), Equipment Specifications - Data Sheets, Hydraulic Pump Calculations, Air Emission and Waste Generation Estimates, Safety Relief Device, and Vent Piping Calculations

Responsibilities:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Sr. Engineer - Mechanical Process Piping with Barge Design Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in leading and contributing to major projects in your specialized discipline or market practice area. Your responsibilities include:

  • Designing and documenting technical solutions for a specific discipline or market practice area.Managing and maintaining project documentation with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Providing technical leadership on large complex projects and supporting project managers as a technical advisor on potential issues, participates in the research and development of solutions to engineering and other technical challenges.
  • Reviewing project documents for conformity and ensuring quality assurance.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and reviewing their work for quality purposes.
  • Leading complex technical discussions with clients and stakeholders.
  • Developing strong relationships with clients, customers, officials, contractors, and other collaborators.Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Qualifications:
