JOB SUMMARY:

Position Summary
Responsible for Disney Adventure Cruise Ship Culinary Development and Implementation
A hands on role Creating, implementing and overseeing all regional specific Disney Adventure Culinary Menus-offerings including, but not limited to Main Dining, a la Carte, Quick Service and Concierge
Responsibilities

Includes but is not limited to

  • Concept development and recipe creation with pictures for all Disney Adventure Culinary outlets - Rotational dining, Quick Service, Fine Dining, Room Service, Concierge, daily Amenity offerings and Crew/Officer Dining
  • Executive Tastings
  • Working with our Procurement, Scheduling and Logistics teams
  • Owner Furnished Equipment creation
  • Onboard Crew Training and Menu implementations onboard Culinary Audits
  • Assist Shoreside Culinary Team with Fleetwide and Island Menu Development
  • Constant and open communication with the culinary standards Managers, Food Managers, Food and Beverage Services Managers.
  • Responsible for assisting the Disney Adventure Food Managers, sustaining successful culinary operations and to provide vision for the future.10%
  • Responsible for talent management, succession planning and rotations of Disney Adventure shipboard culinary teams by partnering with scheduling and recruitment teams to retain top talent.
  • Maintain the highest level of Guest satisfaction, Crew support Operational and Financial performance.
  • Creates an environment of trust and respect through empowerment of Leaders and Crew Members at all levels
  • Encourages high morale, fosters teamwork and partnership, motivation, training, coaching and mentoring to all direct reports
  • Establish effective partnerships with other line of business by fostering teamwork amongst shipboard teams and Shoreside operations

The Role will be based in Celebration Florida USA for 1 year Culinary Development then reside in Singapore as Culinary Support and Culinary Shoreside point of contact for the Disney Adventure Cruise Ship Culinary operations
