• Provides high quality advice and support and performs evalution /assessment of legal risk in all areas of civil, corporate governance and capital markets law, to OMV Petrom business and corporate functions, as well as to OMV Petrom group entities/branches, in close alignment with other representatives of Legal Department;
• Participates to the organization of corporate events (like general meeting of shareholders);
• Drafts, reviews and negotiates legal documentation in various projects/ transactions;
• Supports and trains legal counsels and other relevant employees in legal matters pertaing to Corporate Legal area of activity;
• Provides research, factual information, counsel and guidance on legal questions or issues in the area of law pertaining to Corporate Legal;
• Develops, implements, maintains, monitors and revises standards and regulations in the area of activity of Corporate Legal, as appropriate;
• Organizes and documents legal issues and related reporting, as applicable;
• Ensures monitoring of legislation, and legal case law relevant for the area of activity of Corporate Legal and the provision of regular newsletter on these issues; Provides input regarding planned new legislation in order to avoid/mitigate negative effects on the business;

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree: Legal
• Relevant professional experience: ˃ 9 years
• In depth knowledge of civil, corporate governance and capital markets law
• Experience with major corporations
• Refined written and oral communication skills in Romanian and English;
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• In depth understanding of technical and commercial issues
• Computer literacy – Word, Power Point, Microsoft Outlook; Excel
• Project management abilities
