Description:
ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Our reputable client in the manufacturing sector is seeking a designated Sr Financial Analyst for a period of 5 months. You will be working closely with the FP& A Manager and Director level stakeholders across the business. This role is due to start immediately and can turn into a permanent position in the summer.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to work for a company that will value your impressive financial modelling skills and long-term planning insights. This is a hybrid role, with expectations of working in our client’s office 2-3 days per week.
In addition to the above, the following skills are also desired:
- Ability to work on board presentations and provide commentary on key business impacts
- A sound understanding of ERP systems and BI tools as well as superior Excel skills
- A strong record acting as a business partner to various internal stakeholder group
Responsibilities:
- Prepare weekly cashflow and balance sheet statements
- Act as a Business Partner to Director and VP level stakeholders across Shipyards and Corporate Services to obtain budget information
- Refresh the weekly management dashboard and KPI report, utilizing Power Bi
- Model financial data and prepare forecast
- Provide commentary for Board reporting, including graphics for visualization purposes
- Support the annual budgeting process
- Frequent interaction with other departments such as HR, IT, Supply Chain Treasury and HR
To be considered for this opportunity, you are a designated Senior Finance Professional (CPA or equivalent), with 5+ years of relevant work experience in a large, complex environment. You are comfortable managing relationship with both internal and external stakeholders.
