Sr. Financial Analyst

Our Ottawa area client is currently looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join their team.
This is a 6-month engagement with a possibility of further extension offering a Hybrid work model (3 days a week in office).

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

• A Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or other field of study with a minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
• CPA designation or similar qualification
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Experienced in Financial Modelling
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A self starte

• Assist in the preparation of Quarterly operations review and analyze performance to identify KPI
• Preparation of all key financial metrics and analysis performed
• Assist in annual budget process and any forecasting
• Update and maintain the long-term plan financial models and rolling forecasts.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly cost centre actual versus budget/forecast report and expense analysis
• Monthly accruals and reforecasting
• Collecting all required SOX documentation support for budget and planning cycle
• Support FP& A team with adhoc reports and projects as required
