Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE:

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for financial and business information and analysis in support of the company’s reporting, forecasting and planning processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Extract and analyze financial, economic and operational data to support activity-based modeling and profitability pro formas for domestic customers. Provide insights and recommendations to business leaders on restructuring existing business as well as future business opportunities.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess business performance and evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Prepare insightful reports and presentations for executive leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to gather data, perform analysis, and drive actionable insights.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Lead planning and forecasting processes for areas of responsibility; responsible for inputting and validating inputs into the Hyperion Planning application.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a financial analyst, preferably in a corporate finance or FP&A role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, ERP systems).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence decision-making.
  • CPA or CFA preferred.
