SUMMARY:
Owens & Minor is looking for a Senior Manager, Global HRIS (Workday) to join our HR Operations team. We’re seeking an experienced and motivated teammate who is ready to take on the challenge of driving the successful delivery of Workday projects and initiatives. The individual will be part of a team responsible for ensuring Workday meets the needs of Owens & Minor’s business partners, stakeholders, and users. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of functional and technical expertise, as well as a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders throughout the business. This role will be the main lead for assisting the business with their Workday requirements and needs.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience supporting an HCM with 5+ years experience designing, configuring, and supporting the Workday HCM application
- Strong functional and technical experience in two or more of the following modules within the Workday HCM Suite: HCM Core, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, and Talent & Performance
- 3-4 years experience managing an HRIS team
- Experience with Workday applications including reporting and integrations
- Data driven approach with the ability to use EIB’s to export and import data
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, including Pivot Tables, Macros, V-Look-Up, etc.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing and driving Workday optimization and adoption across the organization.
- Serve as technical point of contact, perform testing of system changes, report writing, process improvement opportunities, and project management.
- Responsible for the administration of Workday modules: Core HCM, Security, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Absence (OUS), Reporting, Payroll, Talent & Performance.
- Act as lead and SME for acquisitions; this includes data gathering, mapping, configuration, testing, deployment, etc.
- Responsible for understanding the organization’s needs and developing reporting/dashboards that will identify key trends; review and analyze reports for data integrity prior to release to stakeholders.
- Provide effective support and leadership to HRIS team.
- Contribute to strategic enhancements and improve user experiences by driving best practices related to data integrity and processes.
- Support discussions with HRBP’s and Leadership to drive decision making by asking questions to help discover true needs and brainstorm effective, efficient solutions.
- Act as a thought leadership partner and subject matter expert for HRIS projects and initiatives.
