Description:

OVERVIEW:

UES, a Blue Halo Company. is in immediate need of an experienced Senior Human Resource Generalist who will join our team in Dayton, OH. You will support the human resource function in the delivery of company-wide development initiatives processes.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING:

  • This position will work with some government related projects and requires U.S. Citizenship and will work on-site in Dayton, OH.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field; post graduate degree is preferred.
  • 5 years’ direct experience in HR Operations and 3 years leadership experience.
  • Experience with a science, technology or with DoD contractor preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills including the ability to convey information to all levels of employees in an understandable manner; comfortable and competent in conducting presentations with various size audiences.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Embraces complexity and navigates ambiguity, leveraging curiosity to gain clarity and paths forward.
  • Ability to move smoothly between strategic discussions and tactical plans.
  • Ability to assess talent and metrics to determine opportunities and solutions.
  • Ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability and learning agility.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn HRIS

Responsibilities:

  • HR Operations: Collaborate with employees and leaders to execute a wide range of Human Resource initiatives, including and not limited to HR Operations, employee onboarding, employee relations, policy administration, employee mentoring, compensation, compliance, benefits, leave administration and employee offboarding.
  • HRIS Support: Using data management with ADP Workforce Now to process new hire data, compensation, position changes, and other HR related employment/payroll data.
  • Confidentiality/Trust: Handle confidential and sensitive employee information with the utmost discretion and professionalism. Build and maintain trusting relationships with employees and teammates.
  • Critical Thinking/Problem Solving: Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity to obtain clarity and resolution. Skilled in analyzing and evaluating data in a logical and systematic manner. Demonstrated learning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Compliance: Anticipate and manage constantly changing regulatory environment to ensure HR compliance success. Conduct audits and produce mandatory reports.
  • Communication: consult with leadership to anticipate employee’s needs, employee concerns, employee related issues, and provide appropriate resolution. Ability to convey information to all levels of employees in an understandable manner.
