Reporting to the Vice President of Innovation, the Senior Manager of Innovation Marketing will be responsible for driving short term growth and planning for long term growth with the Innovation platforms. Building consensus across the organization, you will work closely with Insights, R&D, Brand Teams and the Sales Organization to drive new differentiated propositions into market.

Responsibilities:

Lead the Innovation Pipeline: Lead the development of the brand pipeline in alignment with overall business and brand objectives. Lead the execution of the brand pipeline; managing timing, proposition and channel delivery (brick and mortar as well as eComm). Identify emerging food trends, market gaps, and consumer insights to inform product development and marketing initiatives.
Lead the Proposition Launches: Drive end-to-end proposition development (from concept development through new product launches), collaborating with cross-functional teams including Insights, R&D, Operations, and Sales. Develop and execute go-to-market plans, ensuring seamless integration with overall brand messaging across the different channels.
Influence and Drive with Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build consensus through influence and collaboration to drive new platforms and approaches. Work closely with R&D to understand product capabilities and unique selling propositions. Collaborate with Sales to create effective sales enablement tools and ensure successful product launches in the market. Collaborate with Insights to ensure consumer centric innovation.
Lead Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of propositions and platformer Analyze performance and consumer feedback to continuously optimize and iterate propositions.
Key Qualifications
6-8 years’ experience in Food or Beverage; Supplements experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
Proven experience in leading and launching new production innovation in both fuzzy front end innovation and close in innovation
Proven experience leading multiple cross functional teams towards a shared execution in a condensed timeframe
Proven experience managing a brand or innovation team with P&L responsibility.
Ability to work in the Downer’s Grove, IL corporate office 1-2x per week
