Responsibilities:

The Inside Sales Executive will support both the For Business (B2B division) and the Field sales team with our key retail partners for our consumer products. This role will be responsible for optimizing and executing our inside sales strategies to maximize revenue generation within the assigned channels of responsibility.
For B2B this role is the first step in the sales journey in building sales and generating leads for the For Business (B2B) side of Dyson. This role will optimize ways of working to maximize inbound sales opportunities and is responsible for pre-qualifying inbound opportunities for sales pipeline growth, handling internal D2C sales transactions for select customers and scheduling sales team meetings via inbound and outbound activities.
For Field Sales, this individual will work with a listing of accounts across Canada and execute strategies to best influence sales within their accounts. This role will support customers via Telesales as well as Virtual Education Opportunities. Driving both sales-in and sales-out behaviour with these select retail partners will play a significant role in achieving the overall company objectives.
Optimize and execute strategies to maximize inbound sales inquiries and direct transactions via phone, email, and web leads (50%):

B2B Inbound:

  • Utilizing existing tools, build system to handle inbound calls, emails, and web leads by properly qualifying and entering information into CRM system.
  • Appropriately qualify all inbound leads and complete D2C transactions utilizing transaction OneView system (direct sales), and by collaborating with BDE team to send select leads to distribution partners (indirect sales)

Field Sales Inbound:

  • Develop system and identify tools needed to appropriately handle inbound calls, emails from our retail partners and provide information on latest promotional offers and educate on NPD. Convert inbound enquiry into a sales opportunity to gain more share of retailer for all relevant categories.
  • Provide as needed training and merchandising materials to help drive increased sales-out

Utilizing existing tools, optimize ways of working and systems to conduct targeted outbound sales calls to potential new customers and book qualified meetings for sales team (50%):

B2B Outbound:

  • Recommend and execute targeted outbound campaigns via existing Dyson database information, trade events, targets from sales team and purchased data.
  • Respond to and qualify inquiries that come from digital and off-line sources- print ads, social media, paid search, and word of mouth.

Field Sales Outbound:

  • Build strong customer relationships with key decision makers and sales associates.
  • Educate the Value of Dyson & engage, create energy around the products & the solutions they offer.
  • Develop strategies and plans to ensure call targets per day are met and frequency expectation is achieved.
  • Provide clear, concise communications supporting stores on informing of key activities/opportunities.
  • Clearly document interactions with stores using tools provided.
