Description:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and eight years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in designing, building and testing integrations with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and third party cloud and on premise applications using Oracle PaaS, Oracle Integration Cloud and Oracle OTBI.
  • Expertise in various integration design patterns (App driven, Scheduled, File transfer, Publish and Subscriber).
  • Hands-on experience with API and Web Services including OIC cloud adapters for REST, SOAP, FTP, HCM, Database.
  • Ability to develop and maintain interfaces between Oracle Fusion Cloud and third party systems using HCM Extracts and BI Publisher.
  • Ability to develop and maintain file based integrations (FBDI) between third-party systems and Oracle Fusion Cloud using HDL and HSDL.
  • Experience with using Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS), Fast Formulas, Journeys, Extensible and Descriptive Flex fields.
  • Experience with configuring/creating/modifying Oracle Fusion Cloud Workflows.
  • Ability to translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture, design and high performing software.
  • Ability to define and solve logical problems for highly technical applications.
  • Ability to select, adapt, and effectively use a variety of programming methods.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and programming tools.
  • Thorough understanding of all aspects of software development life cycle and quality control practices.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical team members.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE:

University IT (UIT), part of the Business Affairs organization at Stanford University, is dedicated to delivering world-class service and technological solutions to advance research, teaching and learning, administration, and healthcare. UIT is embarking on a long-term strategy to plan, replace, and implement new cloud-based solutions for several enterprise-wide systems.
UIT seeks an experienced Senior Integration Developer to support the technical implementation of the University’s cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) and Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) software application suite as part of the Pinnacle program. Pinnacle includes replacement of the legacy HR, Payroll and ELM systems. The Senior Integration Developer will be responsible for designing /building/testing/managing complex integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and our boundary systems including external vendors and various on-premise applications using Oracle PaaS, Oracle Integration Cloud and Oracle OTBI. The Senior Integration Developer will perform the most advanced project and analytical work ensuring optimal implementation of the Oracle HCM Cloud suite as part of the Pinnacle program.
Implementation of the new cloud-based HCM/ELM application is sponsored by University HR, Financial Management Services and University IT.

CORE DUTIES:

  • Propose, conceptualize, design, implement, and develop integration solutions for difficult and complex applications independently.
  • Oversee testing, debugging, change control, and technical documentation for Integrations developed for Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM.
  • Supervise professional staff, as necessary, working on all phases of integration/fusion development.
  • Engage in long-term strategic planning for technical implementation of Oracle SaaS/PaaS.
  • Define complex application development administration and programming standards.
  • Oversee the support, maintenance, operation, and upgrades of Cloud HCM applications.
  • Lead projects, as necessary, for Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM systems and related application development.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Work with other technical professionals to develop standards and implement best practices.
