TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Proficiency in solution architecture design principles, patterns, and standard methodologies, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), serverless computing, and other modern software paradigms.
• Experience with platform governance tools and technologies, such as cloud management platforms (CMPs), configuration management tools, and infrastructure as code (IaC) frameworks.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for Sr Java Cloud Architect with experience developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. The responsibilities include Develop and implement cloud strategy and migration plans, leveraging cloud-native technologies and services to optimize infrastructure, reduce costs, and improve scalability and resilience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions within the Technology Solutions (TS) group, focusing on TDS (Technology Delivery Services) and TBSM (Technology Business Services Management).
• Collaborate with team members to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop solution architectures that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Supervise the entire software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing, deployment, and maintenance, ensuring timely and successful delivery of technology solutions.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in technology solutions delivery processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in technology solutions architecture, with a focus on cloud and platform modernization initiatives.
• Proven track record of optimally delivering end-to-end technology solutions, from concept to implementation, within sophisticated and multifaceted environments.
• Expertise in cloud computing platforms and services, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and handling cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with platform governance and management practices, including defining standards, policies, and processes for platform usage, security, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of modern software development methodologies, such as Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and their application in delivering technology solutions.
