Responsibilities:

Capex Projects
Planning, coordination and monitoring of all CAPEX projects in Europe.
Coordination and monitoring of project preparations as well as planning and execution with a focus on adherence to deadlines, costs, and use of resources.
Overarching cost control as well as management and monitoring of the expenditure progress of all European projects.
Manage and extend external partners for effective project management, development of KPIs as well as standards and tools for effective project management.
Reliability
Development and implementation of strategies and digital technologies to increase the technical availability of plants and to save maintenance costs.
Identification and implementation of the latest industry standards in the field of maintenance as well as exchange of best practices with other locations within Ingredion.
Introduction of standardized processes, practices, key performance indicators and analyses to identify potential equipment failures and malfunctions as well as to eliminate or avoid them.
Development and implementation of training courses in the field of maintenance regarding reliability.
Collaboration with plant teams to implement reliability strategy, programs, and projects, as well as corporate engineering.
Support of investment projects within the framework of plant design to optimize the life cycle of plants ("Design for Reliability").
Support risk management by identifying risks for potential, significant equipment failures.
General
Transfer of internal and external engineering know-how to and from other locations.
Finding and integrating innovative solutions and new process technologies.
Implement Lean Sig Sigma tools and methodologies.
Management of the engineering department as well as the management, coordination of and participation in local and global CI groups.
Close collaboration with all departments of the European manufacturing team as well as with the global corporate organization.
Use and further development of networks within and outside the organization.
Qualified candidates will have:Mandatory requirements:
Education: engineering qualified – degree standard
Solid professional experience in project management of large-scale multi-million projects within a manufacturing multinational company
People management / team leadership experience
Expertise in project management, process technologies, reliability management, Six Sigma as well as occupational health, safety and environment.
Experience in a matrix organization with solid stakeholder management is critical
Very good technical understanding as well as very good understanding of process engineering processes
Language: German (C1) and English fluency, both written and spoken
