Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

This role is responsible for enabling revenue growth and customer satisfaction through leading a team, as well as a best-in-class Project Management of equipment installation in the Retail Services Organization. This organization will maintain a well-trained pool of project managers that will be assigned to manage installation projects across the loss prevention and inventory intelligence lines of business. The role requires a mindset of standard project best practices continuous improvement and operational excellence. The leader is charged with achieving high quality of service across a national client base and ensuring key operational performance measures are met.
The selected candidate will be expected to set both short and long-term goals to drive efficiencies, minimize expenses and maximize profitability. This role will require the ability build and cultivate working relationships across functions and teams and implement support service models across North America.

HOW YOU WILL DO IT

  • Develop, mature and optimize current PMO office to deliver a set of project management best practices aligned to the Project Management Institute standards and installation best practices for the North America project managers engaged in delivering installation services for retail clients.
  • Responsible for managing and mentoring program and project level resources for Platinum accounts, resources associated with Platinum or strategic accounts, as well as overall engagement, optimization of both PMO and account processes and new request intake.
  • Develop, maintain and optimize KPIs for project reporting dashboard for all pending and active projects.
  • Maintain project management shared site for storage of all project related documentation.
  • Create a project review meeting cadence and agenda for all active projects. These reviews will include at a minimum project schedule, finances and risk analysis of active projects.
  • Review and standardize project documentation set including scope statements, project schedules, project budgets, communication plans, and activity reports to manage the scope of work.
  • Drive project satisfaction survey process to measure client satisfaction with the Sensormatic services deployed.
  • Optimize and drive project management productivity metrics to measure the efficiency of the PM pool of resources aligns with current state expectations and global PMO leaders.
  • Participate in building cost models for new installation work ensuring that all project management costs are included in the project pricing recovery.
  • Assign and track project resources to various active and pending projects, and maintain staffing levels to meet the active and forecasted workload.
  • Directly manage team of program managers and platinum level project managers.
  • Design and implement training requirements for project managers and work.
  • Work with other regional PMO leaders to coordinate global projects and standardization of practices.
  • Manage all PMO in North America including creating and maintaining performance objectives, hiring of appropriate resources, coaching / mentoring of leadership team, resolving any internal conflicts, salary and compensation actions.
  • Monitor and manage day to day operations of the project managers focusing on achieving all project and customer satisfaction objectives.
  • Identify and drive continuous process enhancement initiatives across the project management team to improve efficiency, effectiveness and customer satisfaction results.
  • Represent the company as appropriate in its relationship with major customers, suppliers, government agencies, etc.
