POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Manager of Compensation Programs and Strategies is an individual contributor role accountable for the end-to-end delivery of complex, enterprise-wide projects related to compensation philosophies, processes, guidelines, salary surveys and regulatory wage compliance. Cross-functional project teams will look to this leader to achieve pay programs which are fiscally responsible and meet the needs of the changing health care business and regulatory landscape.
Additionally, this new role will lead a strategy for best in class use of salary survey/market data, access, tracking, insights and recommendations for action. This may include wage investments for specific job types, pay equity analysis and programs to evolve our total rewards offerings for our more than 320,000 colleagues.
The Sr. Manager will partner directly with Compensation peers, HR Business Partners, Legal Counsel and Talent Acquisition to test and ultimately deliver projects. The expectation is to be prepared for and remain open to feedback which can improve projects and the candidate would be comfortable responding to feedback from HR leaders at any level. The ideal candidate has experience in creative problem solving and clearly articulating recommendations then acting on those recommendations, under tight deadlines, autonomously.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of roven history of leading and delivering complex projects, end to end
  • 5+ years of Project Experience
  • 5+ years Compensation Experience
  • Background in FLSA role evaluations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Workday experience
  • PMP or similar, attention to detail, excellent status tracking and proactive follow up
  • Advanced experience in MS PPT, able to communicate difficult concepts in a succinct way, comfortable presenting to large and diverse audiences with confidence
  • Advanced technical and quantitative skills, including experience using and manipulating large amounts of data in MS Excel
  • Ability to take on complex problems and applies sophisticated thought to identify creative solutions
  • Effectively communicates difficult concepts and influences others to embrace an enterprise point of view

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree or relevant equivalent experience
