Description:
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or life science degrees such as biochemistry, molecular biology, chemistry, chemical engineering or related field.
EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years of experience in operations, technical operations, and/or R&D sustaining.
- Proven experiences in problem-solving, new introductions, process improvements, and manufacturing sustaining engineering activities.
- Must have experience in supervising and leading scientific teams and have a strong understanding of ISO and cGMP quality requirements. Proven track record of developing individuals and teams for domain expertise and leaders.
- Experience with qPCR assays and oligo manufacturing processes and techniques is needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem solving abilities with key knowledge in Oligo chemistry. bio-chemistry, and qPCR assays. A strong Lean/Six Sigma and statistical analysis abilities is desired. Excellent project management and interpersonal skills are required, providing the ability to encourage, empower, and collaborate.
