Description:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • College degree (BA or BS)
  • 5+ years experience in inventory and Open to Buy management, with experience in managing a budget for sales, margin and inventory.
  • Retail or consumer goods industry experience preferred
  • Must have JDA Demand/Fulfill experience

WORKING CONDITIONS /PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the inventory, sales and margin plan for assigned categories. Train and develop replenishment planners with consistent methodology which consists of flow of stock to achieve inventory turn and sales goals.
  • Work with Merchandise Directors on strategies to drive the business. Work strategically with supply chain, merch finance, marketing, pricing and store partners to translate vendor commitments, supply chain capacity, stores stock levels, and marketing into plans that achieve the sales, GM and unit turnover expectation.
  • Drive the JDA process – look for improvements/synergies and proper associate allocation to deliver results. Hands on replenishment of a category to drive consistency in thought and process. (Player-coach)
