Description:

This position is responsible for leading the strategic development and execution of sales strategies for new markets and new products for Brasseler Medical. The position will focus on devising and leading the execution of initiatives that will bring Brasseler Medical into complementary markets in which it serves today and the launch of products in new categories/specialties to drive accelerated growth.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Knowledge about the US Orthopedic sector in extremities is a must, as well as strong knowledge of the different channels and sales models.
  • Must have prior sales leadership experience in orthopedics
  • Strong leadership qualities. Ability to move others to act.
  • Analytical, logical and advanced problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to establish strategic relationships and partnerships
  • Functional experience as Regional Sales Manager or Sales Director preferred

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; 3 or more years of management experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically a Bachelor’s Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master’s degree or global equivalent a plus.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the development and execution of strategic plans associated with new products and markets
  • Ensure effective launching of new/line extension products
  • Responsible to allocate the sales quota across account / channel teams to enhance business results
  • Responsible to achieve sales budgets by leading the efforts of the team to execute go to market strategies
  • Partners with key management members to oversee the development of strategic plans aligned with marketing objectives
  • Synthesizes customer strategies with brand and sales strategies to maximize results for both customer and company
  • Management and the development of independent sales agents
  • Development of sales strategies for new products for all sales channels, in partnership with National Sales Director
