The Sr Manager, Inventory will manage the inventory processes across all divisions in coordination with the division/branch teams, Accounting, Corporate Operations, and the centralized Purchasing group. In particular, the General Manager, Inventory will focus on safe guarding CTDI inventory through cycle counts, physical inventory counts, and process improvements in the operations. Additionally, the General Manager, Inventory will coordinate processes to improve the usage and tracking of inventory from Oracle Inventory through any operational tracking databases, such as OLP, PRSIM, etc., to reduce inventory obsolescence expenses and optimize inventory management across all branch locations. This role will work closely with existing management teams across the operations and at Corporate. As the General Manager, you will promote cross-functional collaboration between business groups, drive communication and work to foster a culture of innovation providing value to the business.
This position will be responsible for the end to end management of inventory process and is responsible for measuring and driving the performance of customer programs - including key performance metrics, production, quality, and customer communication.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of B.S. Degree in Business, Project Management or related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years Program, Project, or Operations Management experience in a fast-paced operation.
  • 7-10 years of experience within a high volume inventory/distribution operations and logistics environment.
  • Previous experience with inventory management is a plus
  • Experience in the telecommunications or cable industries is preferred.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the corporate function of inventory management with business divisions across the organization
  • Track, measure and monitor inventory performance to internal metrics and expectations.
  • Manage the interaction between inventory planning and inventory usage teams to improve performance
  • Develop standard work flows and processes for cross business unit collaboration and compliance.
  • Convert business needs into process changes to improve efficiency
  • Analyze the turnover and utilization of inventory assets and drive/track P&L efficiencies
