ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION

  • Supply Chain Management
  • Aim for to be the go-to resource with the field of material management
  • Ensure safety, quality and cost is delivered within the scope
  • Participate in industry initiatives
  • Responsible to ensure safe and efficient execution of Material Management strategies and monitoring of Warehouse Operation
  • Contribute to the development and follow-up of procedures corresponding with the material management guidelines
  • Actively pursue continuous improvement to quality of material master to facilitate full use of
  • Coordinate disposal/cost recovery process and liaison with key operators (partners) and external companies
  • Participate in keeping Maintenance management system updated, with special emphasis in material & spare part area
  • Actively contribute to meet material management targets and strategy
  • Participate in process of improving data quality of material master data
  • Act as focal point for introduction/use of NOROG Material Management tools in Company (e.g. Critical Material Req, Disposal portal, Sub Quip sharing and Virtual Inventory)
  • Support the function in all material management matter
  • Review and report relevant deviations and non-conformity as and when required
  • Support process for material reviews including review of data quality, storage requirement and preservations through spot checks and KPI’s
  • Maintain regular communication with different function to ensure correct coding, identification of master data, preservation requirements, etc.
  • Collaboration with all relevant function to ensure operational needs run smoothly

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree / Candidata magisterii /Candidatus magisterii or Master of Science within relevant field
  • 6-9 year work experience
  • Language: Norwegian and English
  • Relevant Supply Chain Management experience and preferable additional operational warehouse and inventory experience
  • Strong ethics, control & integrity awarenese
  • Good knowledge of relevant ERP systems
  • Interpersonal skills and team player
