about the company Our client is a leading global leader of semiconductor solutions. They have operations globally across Taiwan, Europe, China, Korea etc. and they’re now on a look out for a Senior/Design Engineer to join their dynamic team during an exciting time in their development. What you will be here for

• Define requirements and features for semiconductor equipment
• Develop concepts and architecture of new equipment
• Design mechanical systems which involve the selection and use of motors, actuators, gear drives, pumps and valves
• Produce detailed engineering drawings
• Perform design verification and validation testing
• Improve design of legacy machines
• Application of analysis tools like Fish Bone Diagram, FMEA etc

What you will need

• Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
• Min 5 years of experience in automation / high precision machine / semiconductor equipment / High Speed Pick and Place design
• Must process knowledge and experience in the design of automation or semiconductor equipment
• Must process good knowledge for 3D CAD software
• Equipment troubleshooting experience will be a plus
• Ability to produce detailed Mechanical drawings and apply knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
