Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Merchandising Analytics Sr. Analyst is responsible for developing problem solving approaches and building analytical models to solve business problems. The primary areas of focus will be identifying how various parts of the business can leverage data to operate differently and drive business results. Works with business partners to align on approaches, recommend solutions based on analysis, and implement recommendations.
Duties and Responsibilities:

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with relevant coursework required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of experience in analytics, management consulting, or merchandise planning required.
  • Experience with Statistical Analysis is preferred.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills. Self-motivated, collaborative, with the desire to learn
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels
  • Highly strategic with an ability to take initiative, multi-task, and prioritize projects successfully to meet deadlines
  • Strong project management skills and ability to collaborate productively with many departments.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) proficiency.
  • Strong sense of business/retail math.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
