Responsibilities:
- Play a critical role in business planning, working closely with senior executives and technical subject matter experts, and influence our long-term technical roadmap.
- Function as a strategic business partner, building excellent relationships and implement significant change across people, process and technology
- Responsible for hiring and managing a team of engineers that ultimately enables Staples to deliver innovative and new solutions rapidly
- Work with architecture to design, implement, support and evaluate tools and services
- Partner with internal IT Support teams (eg. DevOps) to ensure staff is up to date on how to provide first line support for applications
- Function as a relationship manager with vendors, coordinating their delivery and support with internal IT team
