Description:

1.Lead and manage Flight Assembly, Dispatch, and Transportation of all in-flight catering services activities, including personnel and process management, while handling last-minute increased requirements resulting in seamless coordination, timely delivery, and exceptional service quality to airline partners and passengers.
2.Plan and maintain resources (manpower, Hi-Loaders, equipment) to ensure uninterrupted Dispatch and Transportation of Goods and Services to Aircraft, complying with order requirements and safety standards.
3.Anticipate and mitigate risks affecting operations, proposing efficient solutions ensuring uninterrupted service delivery, safeguarding assets, and maintaining operational continuity.
4.Identify areas for improvement and implement Project Management strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency within the Business Unit.
5.Proactively lead in promoting and monitoring a safe working environment, complying with relevant QHSE standards and regulatory requirements.
6.Support the Function in deploying and monitoring the wider operational strategy, including liaising with operational support and excellence to prepare annual and seasonal functional CAPEX/OPEX/manpower requirement budgetary proposals in line with flight plans and forecasts resulting in optimized resource allocation, cost efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals.
7.Foster positive and professional business relationships by collaborating with all internal and external stakeholders to meet and exceed SLAs.
8.Regularly review Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS) in conjunction with Ops support and excellence to ensure relevance during crises and minimize disruption to operations.
9.Lead the design and deployment of new KPIs, KRAs, processes, best practices, technologies, and projects to optimize costs and promote efficiency within respective functional areas.
10.Monitor and introduce the latest IT solutions to optimize department workflow.
Manage, guide, and coach teams through clear objectives and talent management to improve performance and development in accordance with company values and code of conduct, collaborating with HR to facilitate skills development, succession planning, and personal improvement plans.

QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor*s degree in Business Management or equivalent qualification.
Lean six sigma, desirable.
Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) or equivalent safety certifications, desirable.

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

Minimum 8 years* experience leading large-scale operational activities in a logistics, catering and or airside environment.
Experience leading a number of operations efficiency initiatives and service improvements.
