Responsibilities:
- Confers with management to define LAN/WAN business needs and implements effective Board-wide network strategies and develops network procedures.
- Designs complex network infrastructure configurations to maximize the sharing of applications, information, and resources.
- Coordinates with Procurement staff and vendors to procure LAN/WAN-related hardware, software, and services.
- Administers the LAN/WAN communication network to ensure effective use of installed technology; investigates and resolves problems, inefficiencies, and network performance.

- Schedules and coordinates the installation and maintenance of software/hardware on the network; ensures compatibility of all network communications and computer hardware/software.
- Research current technology; provides ongoing information to management, peers, and network users regarding enhancements and innovations.
- Leads technical staff maintaining Board networks and provides project management and coordination.
