Alterity Broker Solutions Inc, a subsidiary of NFP, is hiring a Sr. Operations Analyst.
The Benefit Operations Coordinator (Sr. Operations Analyst) serves as a dedicated resource to support the daily functions of the Operations Team across all verticals. Responsibilities include gathering data, documenting and maintaining standard operating procedures, maintaining trackers, and executing tasks for various projects. While in this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships internally, with broker partners, benadmin systems, and other partner representatives. The role entails a great deal of verbal, electronic, and other written communications and work is completed with a significant amount of independent discretion.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of benefits administration, brokerage operations, and carrier products and services
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing priorities and effective time management
  • Ability to work independently and anticipate leadership and team needs
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • BA/BS preferred
  • Minimum 2 years brokerage operations and/or industry related experience

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with cross functional team leaders, operations, and leadership to streamline processes and provide support to individual contributors.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Partner with operations and leadership teams to drive better education and integration among cross-functional teams.
  • Proactively identifies process improvement opportunities to continue to reduce operational efforts and drive growth and retention.
  • Support operational efforts to streamline new client onboarding, client offboarding, and renewal cycle readiness.
  • Ensures assigned tasks are completed accurately and timely (e.g., SLA adherence.)
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures across all teams.
  • Populate and maintain trackers used for data collection and other processes as directed by operations leadership.
  • Leverage data and insights to support capacity modeling.
  • Support ongoing initiatives to ensure revenue accuracy in collaboration with operations leadership.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in key operational tools, to include Smart Sheet and Salesforce.
  • Build dashboards and other reporting in collaboration with operations leadership.
  • Supports development of communications, to include building email templates, at your discretion and/or the direction of leadership.
  • Monitor and respond to internal and external inquiries and feedback in a timely manner.
  • Facilitates support for other process-driven and operational initiatives to drive revenue, persistency, and integration across all P&Ls as directed by leadership.
  • Target tasks that can be outsourced for efficiency and provide required workload estimates and training to outsourced team.
  • Develop subject matter expertise for operational processes across all business units.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and consistently makes independent judgements subject to general supervisor support.
