Sr. PLSQL Developer

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Write clean, scalable code using modern programming languages.
• Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture.
• Create and test software prototypes.
• Develop client displays and user interfaces.
• Assist software personnel in handling project-related work and other requirements
• Coordinate with other software professionals and developers.
• Upgrading, configuring, and debugging existing systems.
• Providing technical support for web, desktop, or mobile applications.
• Relational database design skills.
• Mentor JR programmers and SME for transitioning Sr programmers.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science required. In lieu of degree 8 of development experience required. Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL required. Expertise developing or integrating with REST APIs preferred. Experience producing code using C#, VB.NET, JavaScript or TypeScript preferred. Experience with frameworks .NET, React, Angular or Vue preferred. Experience with HTML5/CSS3 a plus. Experience with Azure a plus.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of development experience required. Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL required. Expertise developing or integrating with REST APIs preferred. Experience with Azure a plus.
Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: C#, JavaScript. React, TypeScript. PL/SQL based scripting languages and database design patterns. Understanding of Agile methodologies. Strong attention to detail, able to work well in a team environment and excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
