We’re looking for an experienced, driven, analytical, and creative Senior Program Manager to drive e-commerce packaging projects for the EU Sustainable Packaging Team.

Our Team drive innovation while supporting continuous operational improvement. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and scaling up sustainable e-commerce packaging standards and sustainable packaging solutions across all of EU Amazon Fulfillment Centers.
To be successful, you will need excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills to drive consensus across multiple stakeholders. We interface with core Operations (CF, ATS, AMZL), Fulfillment Engineering, Automation Team, Finance, Procurement, Data Science, and Global Packaging Team to identify and execute solutions, that improve customer experience by reducing waste and damages and ultimately drive significant savings for Amazon.
In addition, this opportunity requires excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, technical environment. The ability to work independently and deal with an ambiguous environment is a must. Ownership of work is extremely important, and candidates should have a proven record of driving projects and strategic initiatives to their completion. The ideal candidate is motivated, agile, with strong time management and project management skills.
You should not only be passionate about delivering extensible, on-time solutions, but should also be obsessed with contributing to the development of high-performance teams through rigorous goal-setting, disciplined attention to performance metrics, continuous process improvement, and mentorship.
Major Responsibilities
- Detailing scope, define executional strategy and implement major sustainability projects in EU
- Manage scoping and execution of EU Packaging Projects while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across the region
- Dealing with ambiguity to develop solutions that work for internal and external stakeholders from various disciplines to meet aggressive timeline
- Balancing the business needs versus technical & operational constraints

- Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
