YOUR PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS

You have relevant education at BSc or MSc level within science/engineering combined with+ 10 years of experience from modification projects in the offshore industry, preferably from the North Sea - especially with detailed knowledge of Norwegian regulations.

To succeed in this position, you have experience with:

  • Process calculations and simulation related to heat balance, mass balance, pressure drop calculation, PSV sizing, etc.
  • Process simulation
  • PFD and PID development
  • Instrumentation and control specifications
  • Development of equipment data sheets
  • Pump and Compressor selection and sizing
  • PED directive and related Danish Directives
  • EN standards related to process systems e.g. EN764-7, EN13445, EN13480, etc.
  • CE-marking of mechanical and process systems
  • EN12100 (machinery)
  • IEC 61508 (Functional Safety) and IEC 61511 (Safety Integrity Level

Responsibilities:

Responsible for assigned discipline deliverables, such as:

  • Develop and quality checking of process/utility system design.
  • Evaluation/dimensioning of process equipment (e.g. compressors, heat exchangers, pumps, separators, etc.)
  • Develop and quality checking of process system deliverables such as P&ID, PFD/UFD, process datasheets, line sizing and line list, calculation and calculation reports, process and system documentation.
  • Prepare and actively participate in HAZOP, process design reviews and other relevant safety reviews.
  • Perform and evaluate process simulation.
